About Us
Matt has an intuitive, creative mind and his thoroughness plus attention to detail are second to none. He takes great pride in his creations and will work with you to achieve the desired outcome, whatever your project may be.
Our main tradesman, Matt, started his working career as a cabinetmaker in 2000, specialising in all aspects of cabinetry including kitchens, laundries, bathroom vanities and shop fitting. He gained valuable experience and skills at a local Joinery up until 2007, when he started his own business and also undertook sub-contracting work.
In 2011 Matt joined the team at Sportsmed Hospital as a member of their maintenance staff. As you can imagine, the work here was extensive and varied on a day to day basis. Whilst in that environment he became interested in the area of medical infection control and his knowledge and skills were sought out by an external company, A E Atherton & Sons, in 2013. He remained with Atherton up until late 2018, at which time he decided to return to his original trade background.
When he’s not hard at work, Matt enjoys getting out in his 4 x 4, camping, rally cars and exploring the many walking trails in nearby conservation parks.
